Havurat Yisrael is not just your average Orthodox shul. Yes, just like every Orthodox shul we have services (Shacharit, Mincha, Maariv, Kabbalat Shabbat, Holidays, etc.). Yes, just like many shuls or programs (Hineni, Aish Hatorah) we have classes in Torah, Talmud, Gemara, and Hebrew. And yes, like many shuls, we have programs for adults, children and singles.
But, what sets Havurat Yisrael apart from most other shuls? The difference is that we offer ALL of these programs, under one roof. We perform outreach to the Forest Hills & Rego Park community and even beyond, to the entire metropolitan NY area.
