Our Shul is located in Hillside NJ minutes from Newark airport, we have 3 times a day minyanim. Our Nussach is of Chabad Lubavitch, however we carry ashkenaz & Sefardic Siddurim as well to make all feal comfortable.

Our shul has an open door policy, there are no mandatory membership fees, and all are welcome. No matter where you find yourself on the ladder of observance, you will feel at home here. Our services conform to our 3,300-year old traditions, laws, and customs. We aim to enhance your appreciation and enjoyment of your Jewish identity.

To this end, we provide siddurim, Chumashim, and other materials in Hebrew/ Eng., Hebrew/Russian and Hebrew only. To ensure that everyone be comfortable with their davening. Every Shabbos, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky addresses the congregation with thoughts on the parsha based on the talks of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. On Holidays the speech is in both English and Russian. Through his talks, he is able to bring to life the strong connection of Torah in our daily lives.

Occasionally upon completion of Shabbos morning services, a sit-down Kiddush is provided by a sponsor. The atmosphere is relaxed, as everyone “shmoozes” with their family and friends while enjoying traditional Shabbos foods. If you are interested in sponsoring a Kiddush, please call the shul office at (908) 289-0770 ask for Rabbi Wilansky.

Following Mincha there is a sit-down Seudah Shelisit with a Shiur in Pirkei Avos- during the summer, and Chumash and Rashi during the winter, given by Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky. To add customary Chassidic flavor to your Shabbos, there is even a “farbrengen” during Seudah Shelisit on special occasions.

Shanah Tova! Our policy remains the same for the High Holidays. The shul is open to everyone free of charge. If you specifically want to reserve seats with your name on them, there is a minimal fee required. To make seating arrangements, please call (908) 289-0770 and ask for Rabbi Wilansky.

Our Shul is minutes from newark airport; if you need a minyan, or just a warm place to be, contact us.
