Congregation Kodimoh in Springfield, Massachusetts is a vibrant modern Orthodox synagogue with daily minyanim and Shabbat and holiday services. Its Adult Education Program in one of the most active in the area with regular classes and frequent special programs, and Kodimoh is particularly proud of its outstanding NCSY/Youth programs, which are among the best in New England.
Kodimoh hosts a main sanctuary, beit midrash and Judaica library, banquet hall, kosher catering facilities, bridal room, classrooms, offices and a permanent sukkah structure. The Kodimoh Congregation is affiliated with Eida and the Union of Orthodox Congregations (“OU”). A founder of Heritage Academy (the area’s community day school), Kodimoh maintains a close affiliation with all the Jewish community institutions such as the Va’ad Hakashruth, the Chevra Kadisha, and the local educational institutions.
Kodimoh is located in Springfield’s beautiful Forest Park neighborhood, across from one of the country’s most stunning city parks. The building is host to many community, civic and government gatherings and the congregation works to be an integral part of the community, to enhance the quality of life for all city residents. Kodimoh of Springfield has developed an international reputation for hachnassat orchim, extending hospitality to new residents, guests, and anyone interested in our congregation.
