The Agudath Israel of Montreal was founded some 60 years ago, and has been a vital institution in the “frum” community of Montreal ever since.
The Agudah operates under the able leadership of Rabbi Dovid Merling, Shlita, and the Praesidium, Rabbi Fred Pfeiffer, R’ Yaakov Abramczyk and R’ Yidel Grunberger.
The Agudah has:
- Pirchei Agudas Yisroel, and
- B’nos Agudas Yisroel, which provide children’s Shabbos groups, Melava Malkas, Special Learning events, and outings
- N’shei Agudas Yisroel with their own programs and projects.
The Agudah Organization is also involved in Community endeavours, including special events such as Yarchei Kallahs, shiurim, bringing in speakers, and a Community davening calendar.
