The Butcherie is a family-owned and operated delicatessen that has been serving up the finest authentic Kosher delicatessen and eastern European comfort foods for more than 35 years. Customers love our homemade soups, hot pastrami, fresh-cut Cole slaw, baked knishes and crunchy pickles. All of our soups, salads, sandwiches and dinners are freshly prepared.

Here, you won’t find pre-cut meat wrapped in foam trays—each item is trimmed to your exacting specifications.

Kosher foods are those that conform to the regulations of kashrut (Jewish dietary law). Food that may be consumed according to halakha (Jewish law) is termed kosher in English, from the Ashkenazi pronunciation of the Hebrew term kashér (כָּשֵׁר), meaning “fit” (in this context, fit for consumption). Food that is not in accordance with Jewish law is called treif (Yiddish: טרײף or treyf, derived from Hebrew טְרֵפָה trāfáh).
