OK Kosher Certification and The Kasruth Standards for Kosher Restaurants

We have lately added lots of kosher restaurants all over the USA that are being supervised, and have a kosher certification from the OK Kosher Certification.

So in this post, we want to discuss the Kashruth and standards used by the OK Kosher Certification for all the restaurants it supervises.

Before anything, it should be noted that Kosher Travel Info is only listing kosher restaurants that have a kosher certification from a recognized orthodox agency or local orthodox Rabbi.

Now… Back to the OK…. Some other Kashruth agencies, even bigger ones, may have their normal standards (no shrimp and pork! just kidding… this is a given), but be lenient on others. Like Cholov Yisroel. They will post all the info (i.e., Cholov Stam), but might not mandate it. But with the OK Kosher Certification agency, it is so refreshing that they have a fixed set of rules for ALL the kosher restaurants they supervise.
