The Young Israel of Margate is an Orthodox Shul serving the vibrant seasonal and consistent year-round Jewish community in Margate City, New Jersey.
Our Mission is to enlighten and enrich the lives of the Jewish community of Margate, while providing a safe and friendly environment for visitors to come and worship.
Minyanim are held daily, 3 times a day.
SHACHARIT is at 6:45am Mon-Fri, 9am on Shabbat, and 8am on Sunday and holiday mornings.
MINCHAH is currently at 8pm in the evenings followed by MAARIV.
SHABBAT: For the duration of the summer weeks, Shabbat is brought in early with Minchah/Kabbalat Shabbat begining at 7pm. Shabbat morning services are at 9am. Minchah is held at candle-lighting time, followed by Seudah HaShlishit and then Maariv Havdallah.
The Shul is blessed to have Rabbi Ever, of the Chevron Yeshivah, at their pulpit. The rabbi holds Torah classes on Mondays and Thursdays 30 minutes before Minyan, and in between services.
Margate is a beautiful little town, and Young Israel is a beautiful Little Shul. Please feel welcomed to come and visit the shul, pray with the congregation, partake of our simchahs, and share in our Torah.
