From a Minyan to a Community
Shaare Ezra is a vibrant and Orthodox Sephardic Congregation, which has grown in, leaps and bounds from a small Shabbat Minyan to a fully-fledged community.
A few years ago the Sepharadim of the Miami Beach area decided to form a Minyan just for the Holidays. Mr. Abe Franco initiated the move dedicating the Shul in memory of his father “Ezra Franco” Z”L and with the help of Rabbi Issac Sharbani Z”L. The Shul grow under leadership of Rabbi Yosef Galimidi and later on continued with full effort and dedication of Rabbi Tzvi Karro till present.
Rabbi Karro is world famous Rabbi , Sofer and Painter and owner of Karro International Fine Art. in Miami Beach.
There are daily Minyanim , Netz and 8 AM and afternoon Minyanim for Mincha and Arvit.
There are classes given before Mincha in between Mincha and Arvit and after Arvit in Talmud, practical Halachot, Ladies Classes, Torah reading for youths, and many more, We have classes in English , Spanish , Hebrew, French.
