The Sephardic Congregation of Northridge is located in the suburb of Northridge, in the San Fernando Valley, California. Since 1996 after forming a group to observe the High Holy Days, SCN has blossomed and grown into a dynamic andwell respected congregation/community. SCN follows the traditional SephardicCustom.
SCN is now a community of many more families than that first group. We are made up of Jews from all over the world, sephard and ashkenaz, and we welcome all Jews to join us. Over the last few years SCN has made great progress. We acquired two new Torahs; one commissioned by the community from our own fund raising and hand carried here from Israel, the other donated by a member of the congregation.
In December 2000, SCN purchased the property adjacent to our current home in the Hillel House. We anxiously look forwards to the time when we build our own permanent center. SCN is committed to not only fulfilling it
