Congregation Bnai Jacob of Boston and Newton – Zvhil – Mezbuz Beis Medrash ??????? – ?????? ??? ????

The Beis Medrash in Newton is located behind the Rebbe’s residence on Beacon Street in Newton Centre between Walnut and Centre Street.

We welcome all Jews, from all segments of the community, regardless of affiliation or background. We observe our customs and traditions in a warm, open, joyous, welcoming and non-judgmental environment which is the hallmark of the Chasidic heritage and philosophy the Rebbe inherited from the Baal Shem Tov and allow us all to learn and grow together regardless of present level of education or observance.

Services are held on Shabbos and Yomim Tovim (High Holydays and Festival Holydays) throughout the year, and the Hillula (yahrzeit) of the Rebbe’s ancestors, The Baal Shem Tov and the Rebbes of Mezbuz, Zvhil, Zlotschov, Tschernobl and Apta are commemorated.

The Rebbe davens minchah and kabolas shabbos on Fridays twenty minutes before sundown, Shabbos mornings at 9:00 AM and minchah/sholosh seudos one-half hour before sundown.
