Prayer Services with Chabad of Sudbury
You are invited to join our Shabbat & Holiday Synagogue Services for informative, uplifting and stimulating services. Our services are open to the community regardless of background and affiliation and are geared to be user friendly and human friendly. We guarantee that you will find the traditional services along with the contemporary messages to be the perfect blend of Judaism for you and your family.
Shabbat Services
All services take place at the Chabad Center of Sudbury unless otherwise noted.
Our traditional services are lively and meaningful along with a contemporary message. No prior background, knowledge or membership is required for our services.
Kiddushim and Shabbat Dinners can be sponsored in honor of someone or a special occasion. The cost towards sponsoring Kiddush is $75 and a communal Shabbat Dinner is $360+.
The Saturday Morning Services include the weekly reading of the Torah portion and the Shabbat morning prayers. The duration of the entire service is about 2 hours. Following the service a light Kiddush is served, for which sponsorships are also available.
If you are travelling from out of town please let us know that you are coming so that we can plan accordingly and in case of any last minute changes to our schedule.
About the Chabad Center of Sudbury
The Chabad Center of Sudbury was established in the beginning of 2006 to respond to the growing needs of the Jewish Community of greater Sudbury. The community itself numbers several thousand persons in Sudbury alone, and with the many hundreds of Jewish families in many of the surrounding towns it has become a vibrant and strong Jewish Community.
The Chabad Center of Sudbury is a traditional Jewish organization with a unique and exciting approach to Judaism. At Chabad there are no labels of Orthodox, Conservative or Reform everyone is family.
Since our establishment we have seen unbelievable success in reaching into the community and have established ourselves as a premier Jewish Institution in Sudbury. The wide range of programs we offer are geared to all ages and affiliations. Our programs include year round Holiday Educational Programs, Adult Education Courses, Religious Services, childrens programs and much more. Rabbi Yisroel Freeman
Born and raised in London, England, received education in Rabbinical Schools in London, UK, Montreal, Canada, & Brooklyn, NY. Received Rabbinical ordination in 2001 in New York from the Chief Rabbi of the Israeli Chabad Rabbinate.
Rabbi Freeman spent time working in Jewish Communities in Venezuela, Cuba and of course the United States. Prior to establishing the Chabad Center of Sudbury Rabbi Freeman served as the Rabbi of the Greystone Jewish Center in Yonkers, NY.

Co Director and Educational Director Mrs. Shayna Freeman
Raised and educated in Los Angeles, California, spent a year in a Jewish College in Jerusalem, Israel which was followed by a year in the Beis Rivkah Teachers Seminary in New York. Mrs. Freeman holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Thomas Edison University in New Jersey.
