The Beth Shalom Synagogue is a well established Shul. It was dedicated in February 1970. We are an Orthodox Synagogue in Scranton PA with a diverse congregation that allows for everyone to feel comfortable.
We have daily minyanim and a wide array of classes on all levels including a daily Daf Yomi. We also have classes on Navi, Chumash for women, and a Chavrusah program customized to the needs of all individuals on all levels.
Our Shul is a modern facility with 12 magnificent stained glass mosaic windows in our main sanctuary. We also have a large and beautiful social hall fit for every occasion, from bar mitzvahs to carnivals for the kids. Our spacious facility is also the home of the Bais Yaakov Girls’ High School. Our Shul welcomes newcomers with open arms at anytime.

We are making an Orthodox wedding at Camp Morasha (Lakewood PA) this summer and we are looking for local vendors we can work with that are familiar with Jewish weddings. Any suggestions for Florists, Photographers, Dj’s etc., would be greatly appreciated.
