For over 30 years, Congregation Emek Beracha (once “The Minyan”), has welcomed students, business visitors, and tourists to Silicon Valley. Our growing, vibrant Orthodox community of over 125 families creates a warm atmosphere and welcoming environment for people from all backgrounds. Guided by Rabbi Yitzchok Feldman, our Shul is committed to approaching the modern world through the perspective of halacha, embracing religious Zionism, and growing in Jewish learning and observance. The name “Emek Beracha” derives from a verse in Divrei HaYamim (Chronicles), in which the kingdom of Yehuda gathers in a valley of blessing (Emek Beracha), so called because “from there they blessed Hashem.”
About Emek Beracha
Founded in 1975, Congregation Emek Beracha (formerly known as the Palo Alto Orthodox Minyan) is changing the South Bay! Silicon Valley is exploding with opportunity and is attracting Jews from all over the world. Because of the massive influx, our shul is continuously growing and therefore taking steps to spearhead the creation of a strong, thriving Jewish community.
Many wonderful people have become part of our community over the years, and those who have moved elsewhere still like to keep in touch and to hear what’s going on in this part of the world. That is why we have created a mailing list to which hundreds of members worldwide subscribe.
If you would like to become a member of Emek Beracha, simply call the office at the number listed below and leave your name, phone number, and mailing address.
