Congregation Etz Chayim is an Orthodox synagogue affiliated with the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America. It was established through the merger of three older congregations.

The synagogue has both a rabbi and a cantor. It conducts Sabbath and Holidy services as well as daily morning and evening services. Sunday religious school, adult education classes, and Hebrew classes conducted during the week as a participating partner in the Toledo Board of Jewish Education are ongoing activities at Etz Chayim. A Mikva is located on the premises of Etz Chayim and reservations for its use can be made by calling the office.

Affiliated with the synagogue are the following organizations: Etz Chayim Sisterhood, Men’s Club, Senior and Junior Youth Groups (Affiliated with the UOJCA’s National Conference Synagogue Youth), and Netay Etz Chayim, the Parent Group of the Sunday School.
