Nusach | Arizal / Lubavitch |
Chabad House is a convenient synagogue for visitors to Seattle, with many hotels in easy walking distance. Services are held Saturday morning at 10 am, followed by a gala kiddush lunch, and (in the winter) by Mincha. Friday night minyan is held a few blocks away from Chabad House, at Chabad at the UW, contact Rabbi Estrin for more information.
The Chabad House minyan hosts an eclectic mix of people from the neighborhood: University of Washington students, visitors to Seattle, and a core of Jews from the Former Soviet Union. Services are less formal than a tradtional synagogue, and very comfortable for visitors.
