Welcome to Charleston's first kosher bed and breakfast. The Broad Street Guest House, located South of Broad, is right in the middle of Charleston's historic district. Your Innkeeper, Hadassah Rothenberg, invites you to enjoy the elegance of Charleston, South Carolina while observing Jewish traditions in a kosher home. Orthodox Jews can relish in Charleston's rich history while feeling comfortable walking to Shul, enjoying Shabbat dinner, and staying in a beautifully decorated guest suite. Breakfast is served daily in the elegant dining room or on the spacious piazza.

More Information about The Broad Street Guest House:

When you stay at The Broad Street Guest House, you can expect to be pampered and treated to meals that are anything but ordinary. All meals are prepared in Hadassah's new kosher kitchen, certified glatt kosher by Rabbi Ari Sytner of the orthodox congregation Brith Sholom Beth Israel, the oldest Orthodox Jewish synagogue in the Southern United States. Hadassah's specialties range from traditional dishes to contemporary fare including: fresh-baked breads and homemade preserves, traditional challah, asparagus and shiitake mushroom puff pastry, creative salads, plump roast chicken with pistachio and dried-fruit stuffing, mustard crusted roast beef, and delectable desserts.

When you arrive in time for Shabbos (by Friday at 4:00 p.m.), you will enjoy Shabbos blessings and dinner in the enchanted dining room, a magnificent breakfast, the option of walking to Shul, and a splendid Shabbos lunch. Travelling to Charleston and observing Jewish traditions is the perfect combination when you stay at The Broad Street Guest House.
